About Us...

We are a village school located near to Kingsbridge in Devon. We aim to provide a learning environment that will stay with the children for life, by being friendly and supportive.

The school is set in spacious grounds flanked with mature trees with a woodland stream safely running through the site. There is ample room for all the children to play through the year with the linked playgrounds.

Our facilities include a solar heated swimming pool, interactive whiteboards in every classroom, on site kitchen, sports field.

The school was built in the late 1968 and the classrooms are located in three discreet "hubs" with easy access for all into a large hall area.

Disabled access is not an issue with all classrooms on a level surface. We have two hard playgrounds, 1 for the lower age groups and 1 for the upper age groups within the school along with some lovely playing fields for when it is dry.

With plenty of space for everyone to have fun and learn.

Our School aims

We aim to provide a safe, secure and stimulating learning environment that will help the children to develop and discover their abilities to their fullest extent. We offer a broad based education that will help each child, on an individual basis, widen their horizons to take part in all activities and to tackle new challenges with confidence.

All the children benefit from the experience that not just the teaching staff bring but also the ancillary staff and the local community involvment too.
